Realization on Love

Love is not for those who are faint-hearted. It is a test of time that one must undergo and must have these equipped: perseverance, understanding and fervor. Those who easily give up are not blessed to see the eternal beauty of this centuries-old mystery. Those who pretend to believe or who are naive will be enslaved by love. Such is a dangerous thing to happen. Those who lack faith will only see lies.

Love must not be taken for granted. Love must not be feared. One must be open to endless possibilities of how love can play in one’s life. Love is to be accepted as it is and go with its flow taking its course in your life. And once that happens, you have understood love. You will be able to preach it with conviction. Many may disagree with you or think that you are wrong, or simply conclude that you’ve been shot by cupid’s arrow but realize this: no one is capable to convince you of something except yourself.

This is what I have come to realize about love while talking with a certain person who has helped me grow in terms of wisdom.

Emotion and Logic

Her smiles reach ear to ear as she speaks to him on the phone. He does not know how he truly captivated her with his effortless charms but she knows with all her heart. She just cannot get this through him. Or so she thinks.

He knows how she loves him but he remains his calm composure not letting himself succumb to temptation to break her fragile heart. She is like a forest spirit, gentle and kind, always forgiving. Her very nature amused him, yet he has to teach her of things in this cruel industrial world. He wants to guide her, improve her reasoning of things to defend herself against surrounding malicious intentions. He does not want her to lose her very nature.

He loved her.

And she loved him.

But both love in ways different from the other. It makes their love interesting.

Truly Ambitious

Here are a list of things I want to become someday: (I know it’s overkill but yeah.)

  • Famous IT Person (on Web Design)
  • A famous digital artist (specifically on commercial art, mascot designs especially chibi)
  • A supermodel modeling my very own designed clothes
  • Lead singer/female vocalist of a band
  • Singer actress
  • Inventor of an innovation (I’m not sure yet which one)
  • Voice actress for animation
  • CEO of my own IT firm
  • CEO of my publications company
  • Interior Designer
  • Landscape Designer
  • Virtual Interior and Landscape Designer
  • Web Consultant
  • Author of a few illustrated books
  • Author of a shojo manga
  • Archaeologist
  • Idea provider
  • The Infamous Hacker
  • President of the Philippines (no kidding haha!)
  • Owner of a private island somewhere in the Philippines
  • Owner of an automated and futuristic house

And the list goes on..

Mos of my ambitions in life are leaning towards art and sciences. I hate politics so I don’t think that being President of the Philippines will become a reality. Although I would like to. Just to fix the system. I think and hope that I will be able to achieve most of these someday.. getting to the first mountain of these myriad of goals in my life would be the toughest. But I know that once I’m there, the only way to go is up and it will probably be easier to accomplish most things.

I do believe I can do these. Some people nowadays can achieve fame and money in just an instant. Or they’re probably just really lucky plus a lot of hard work on their part.

So yeah. I believe I can accomplish these. If not, well there’s the next generation to do it for me. 🙂

I Would Have Been Apathetic

While some people chose or volunteered (with or without pay) to campaign for a certain candidate, I remained to be apathetic. I have my reasons for not really rooting for any candidate in this year’s election. As for the presidentiables, I see them only as ordinary presidentiables. I don’t see a revolutionary man who can change the people and move the Philippines to the direction it’s supposed to be in.

Everyone was not convincing enough to move me to be really passionate about rooting for a certain candidate. All they did was bash the candidate of another and vice versa. Where is the integrity in that? Campaigns should not be about the current miserable situation of the country. No one is credible to blame anyone for our misery. We all contributed to this either way. I mean look at us, bashing each other’s candidates. Shouldn’t it be a campaign for who has the best vision for the country, not for the worst candidate on record? Where are the laws on slander and libel? Many have committed such crimes for destroying a candidate’s integrity. Where is the morality that we speak of?

Where is the future of the Philippines? Where are the seeds that Marcos pre-Martial Law planted? Shouldn’t Philippines be on top of other neighboring Asian countires as it had been pre-Martial Law?

I think it’s high time we stop complaining and start doing. Stop bashing each other and start believing in one another. Spark the hope once again. Be a true Filipino. The humble, hospitable, respectful, passionate Filipino.

I still hate the campaigns for destroying my mindset about the colors. Colors are supposed to brighten our days but because of politics they all swirled into one big gray area and every time I see them I am reminded of a certain candidate and how they were all stripped down naked by black propaganda, which I would rather call slander and libel.

I don’t see why there is a reason for packing up your things and heading to greener pastures. It’s called being chicken-scared of facing the reality. It’s disgusting.

My concern is not for the future President of the Philippines. Not even for the Philippines. But rather, it is for the future Filipinos.

Astara Kingdom [A Sampler]

“She is here.”

Palace guards stood firm as slender curvy figure passed by them heading towards the office of the general. She needed reassurance of the safety of her kingdom. Her dreams alarmed her that morning she woke.

The general merely moved a muscle as she entered his office. He knew she would need a report from him.

“There is no need to worry, Princess. Our soldiers are training hard and I have sent special groups to guard our boarders from enemies who could infiltrate our kingdom.”

“I need your assurance that our boarders are impenetrable.”

“They are among our toughest soldiers-”

“But they are not aware who our enemy is. I’ve heard he’s brought down other kingdoms’ defenses. And I-”

“That is why I recruited a tactics expert, your highness.”

“Where is he?”

A handsome man came in with an aura that could draw in people’s attention. His body chiseled to perfection, and his captivating eyes could melt any woman’s heart upon hi glance. He seemed to be surprised at the events unfolding before him. “Am I interrupting something?”

The general spoke. “Your highness, Ferrus Stryke.”

“I think I missed out on something.”

“Are you sure he is the right person, General? He seemed to pick up quite slow.”

“I’m sorry but I do know why I’m here and what I’m supposed to do, your highness. No need to be a little rude to a commoner.”

“What?!”

“Ferrus.”

“I’m sorry. I must have come off rude in front of a woman, more so a princess.”

The princess gasped. The tension in the room brought her to wanting to retort but her limited time would not allow her. “Very well then, Mr. Stryke. I’ll let you go this time. Please make sure nobody can get in our kingdom.”

“Yes, your highness. Good day.”

“And to you too, Ms. Stryke.” With that, she left the general’s office.
